Averill practices in the areas of serious personal injury and wrongful death, real estate condemnation, real property tax disputes and civil litigation. Recent cases include work with wrongful death claims by estate representatives against nursing homes, estate litigation among heirs and working with landowners affected by govenmental claims of condemnation. Averill works to protect property owners’ rights and ensure they receive appropriate tax treatment of their real estate and fair market value for property taken through eminent domain.

Averill brings his aggressive advocacy to clients who have been injured through no fault of their own. Averill is able to resolve complex disputes involving major injuries and wrongful death through the representation of clients attempting to recover appropriately for their losses.
