Jeff Williams-Tracy Speaks on Surrogacy

Jeff Williams-Tracy, a partner with the Charlotte, N.C., law firm Harkey Lambeth, LLP, spoke today on The Basics of Surrogacy Law during the Metrolina Paralegal Association Annual Seminar held at the Charlotte Marriott Center City in Charlotte.

Williams-Tracy presented on the current state of the law regarding assisted reproductive technologies and explained how a typical gestational surrogacy agreement works.

As part of a diversified law practice, Williams-Tracy offers comprehensive services in all facets of assisted reproduction law. Over more than 16 years of legal practice, Williams-Tracy has developed an in-depth knowledge of the needs of families seeking to grow their families by working with gestational carriers. He represents intended parents, gestational surrogates, egg donors and fertility clinics.

Williams-Tracy earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was chairman of the Undergraduate Honor Court. His law degree is from Wake Forest University. He has practiced law in Charlotte, NC, since 1994 and been a partner with Harkey Lambeth, LLP, since 1999.
